Methods and Instruments for Testing of Vehicle Distributed Systems
Electronics become more and more important part of modern passenger cars - in a typical middle-class car there is about 50 ECUs (Electronic Control Units) interconnected by the heterogeneous in-vehicle network. The complexity of these systems is continuously growing and effective methods of their objective testing are required.
The thesis theme includes topics focused on embedded HW development (both processor and FPGA based), embedded SW development (C, C++, VHDL), application programming (both Windows and Linux), test algorithms development (especially focused on automated test generation and deployment) using model-based testing and machine learning ...
Particular topics can be adopted for both the bachelor and diploma thesis. Results of work are directly incorporated into test system used by our industrial partners, especially Škoda Auto (our technology is routinely used to test e.g. complete electronic subsystems in FABIA and RAPID cars).
