Jan Sobotka was awarded the 3rd prize of the Johann Puch Automotive Awards 2018

Jan Sobotka successfully represented the FEE in a category of open innovation with his research on Measurement of FlexRay communication controller parameters. 

The competition is organized by Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik AG & Co KG every year in memory of the Austrian automotive pioneer Johann Puch. Magna donates awards for outstanding ideas and scientific work in the field of vehicle technology in a total value of 20,000 euros. The high-level committee, consisting of representatives from universities, industry, and Magna, assesses the three best submissions in the following two categories. Master's/Diploma theses dealing with topics in the field of automotive engineering and manufacturing and "Open Innovation": new vehicle technology products, processes or methods that have been developed to the level of "Proof of Concept".
