Department of Measurement organized Course on practical electronics for high school students entering the CTU-FEE

At the Department of Measurement, the third year of the intensive "Course on practical electronics" was held at the two-week seminars from 10th to the 21st of September, especially for high school students entering the CTU-FEE. The lectures included theoretical lectures as well as laboratory experiments where each participant assembled a simple microprocessor-controlled laboratory measuring instrument F0-Lab. By means of it, each learned practically the theoretical knowledge at work with electronic circuits and sensors. Part of the course was a brief introduction to the programming of the STM32F042 microcontrollers contained in the F0-Lab using the C / C ++ language. The aim of the course was not only to teach students the basic knowledge of electronics but also to prepare them for the study at university. Due to the success of this year's course and the positive reactions of the participants, it is expected that this event will be continued again in 2019.
